Pearls on black canvas
shattering glass reflections
stars are warm tonight
A compilation of poems, stories, essays and what-nots that I write as fancy takes it.

Whispers To The Wall
Tonight the dwindling stars will die
And so your frozen heart deny
When all the truths begin to lie
And faith and facts go crashing by
Tonight shall I be punished still
For all the thoughts I failed to kill
The dark malignant shades reveal
The sins and lies the night distill
Tonight the stolid vow I broke
Shall cast on me its weary yoke
And you its instrument invoke
Unjust deserts with every stroke
Tonight my stoic soul is bent
To grief's unceasing siege relent
No pillage can my heart prevent
When all its fight and fire is spent
Tonight I ask the question why
Despite with all my will defy
My spirit quenched, my mind decry
My heart is broken where it lies
And so your frozen heart deny
When all the truths begin to lie
And faith and facts go crashing by
Tonight shall I be punished still
For all the thoughts I failed to kill
The dark malignant shades reveal
The sins and lies the night distill
Tonight the stolid vow I broke
Shall cast on me its weary yoke
And you its instrument invoke
Unjust deserts with every stroke
Tonight my stoic soul is bent
To grief's unceasing siege relent
No pillage can my heart prevent
When all its fight and fire is spent
Tonight I ask the question why
Despite with all my will defy
My spirit quenched, my mind decry
My heart is broken where it lies

Morning Angel
My morning angel
A troubled heart
Amidst a troubled role
what does unravel
what keeps apart
behind your curtained soul?
The words you've spoken
do they conceal
The weight of tainted blame?
Or are they token
of aches you feel
that lonely cruel game?
Your hands caressing
Your lips afire
Embraces warm to hold
Were they possessing
no true desire
but daunting empty cold?
Oh angel know this
though I'm forlorn
the sin I don't atone
The simple truth is
My love that morn'
Was yours and yours alone
A troubled heart
Amidst a troubled role
what does unravel
what keeps apart
behind your curtained soul?
The words you've spoken
do they conceal
The weight of tainted blame?
Or are they token
of aches you feel
that lonely cruel game?
Your hands caressing
Your lips afire
Embraces warm to hold
Were they possessing
no true desire
but daunting empty cold?
Oh angel know this
though I'm forlorn
the sin I don't atone
The simple truth is
My love that morn'
Was yours and yours alone
